Poster Design that I did for:
"Restroom Realities: A Curatorial Intervention"
In collaboration with three fellow students at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, we embarked on a curatorial project that delved into the unfiltered expressions found within the Bezalel academy's restrooms. We meticulously documented the myriad of sticker graphics adorning the bathroom walls, raw, candid manifestations of student voices and sentiments. These collected visuals were then curated into an unconventional exhibition space, the campus elevator.
To further engage the community, we installed a toilet seat accompanied by markers beside a mirror within the elevator. This interactive element invited passersby to contribute their own reflections, transforming a transient space into a canvas of collective expression.
As a poignant symbol of renewal amidst decay, we placed a small plant rooted in soil within the toilet bowl. This living element served as a metaphor for hope and regeneration, suggesting that even in the most overlooked and discarded spaces, life can take root and flourish.
The project not only showcased the spontaneous artistry found in overlooked places but also fostered a dialogue about the intersections of privacy, expression, and communal spaces.
